Kimball Residence _ 2,845sf

This home sits on a postage stamp-sized lot in downtown Raleigh. The form is derived from the diagram of the entire buildable area of the site, and carved and molded to create moments of entry and semi-private exterior space on the living and sleeping floors (2nd and 3rd, respectively). A three-story stair features as the spine of the home, organizing the program throughout. Downtown views from the top floor are captured from an exterior deck adjacent to the entertaining space.
