BoSa House _ 2,980sf

Located in a semi-suburban neighborhood on a commercial edge between Raleigh and Cary North Carolina, this project creates a private enclave for the family living within. Tucked between neighboring a mid-century ranch house and a forest-modern Buddhist temple, the home is selective about apertures, opening up at key moments on each of the front and side facades. Toward the natural landscapes of the backyard, the home ebbs and flows to create a stronger connection with large spans of windows. Natural light floods the spaces throughout from hidden skylights, simultaneously washing the textures of a 1.5-story plaster wall in the entertaining space.
